In 1968, Mr. Purushottam Janardhan Ogale planted the first sapling of what would become our iconic Hapus mango orchards. Located in the fertile region of Devgad, Maharashtra, the farm began as a modest endeavor, but with hard work, dedication, and a passion for mango cultivation, it grew exponentially. By 1980, 2,000 Hapus mango trees were flourishing, each bearing the prized Alphonso mangoes that have since become synonymous with quality.
In the same year, Sreedhar Purushottam Ogale officially founded the Ogale brand and began manufacturing Alphonso Mango Pulp. What started with just 10 bottles of mango pulp has now evolved into an expansive portfolio of over 80 products sourced from the rich bounty of the Konkan region. The brand quickly gained a reputation for excellence, and its products became household names in India and abroad, loved for their authentic taste and superior quality.
Today, the third generation of the Ogale family, led by Upendra Sridhar Ogale and Narendra Sridhar Ogale, continues to build upon this legacy.
